1.  What can we expect when we contact you?

IMMEDIATE RESPONSE
When contacting the Jazz Unlimited Band, you will receive an immediate answer either by phone or email. If you wish to meet in person to discuss your important event, we will meet you the very next day or at your earliest convenience.

NO CHARGE FOR UNLIMITED CONSULTATION
There is no charge for our Professional Consulting Services. If and when you decide to hire the band, our services start the day you sign our music contract. The band will immediately begin a working dialog to help you with your wedding plans, and will continue working with you or your wedding planner THROUGH the day of your event.

Once we know the location of your wedding or special event, the size of your guest list and your special requirements, we will suggest just the right number of musicians to make your event a musical success.

Regardless if you only have 10 guests or 500 guests, our family of professional musicians  are here to help you. We will share with you our wide choices of instruments that will best accommodate your musical tastes and requirements.. Together, we will choose just the right size band to achieve your needs, at a price that is reasonable and affordable.

The Jazz Unlimited Band with our Family of musicians is here to help you. We have performed at 100's of weddings and special events, and have performed in most all of the popular venues in the Pacific Northwest.  We can offer you many exciting suggestions on how to make your Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Dinner Hour and Reception a musical success.

COMPARE OUR PRICES AND SERVICES BEFORE HIRING ANY OTHER BAND.
We know of no other band in the Pacific Northwest that can perform our Unlimited Music, provide all our Special Services, and offers such cost savings to our customers. Before signing any Music Contract with another band, please compare our Unlimited Music, Special Prices, Special Services and cost savings.

 We will match any reasonable Price Quoted by any other band or DJ!

PACKAGE DISCOUNTS
We take pride in our Custom Wedding Services. Every wedding and Special Event is so different, therefore the cost of our services various with the number of musicians required, the different time requirements, traveling requirements, and special wedding requirements.  Once we understand your Wedding day needs, we will be happy to quote you our best very price with special discounts.  

You will find our prices very COMPETITIVE.
We will match any reasonable Price Quoted by any other band.
Our contract price will be a Firm - Fixed Price.
 

4.  How much do you require down for a DEPOSIT?

Do to the large number of wedding requests we receive, (many for the same day), we require only a   $100.00 Dollar DEPOSIT. 

 

5.  How may we hire you?

SIGNING THE CONTRACT
Once we understand your event requirements and the details are worked out, we will quote you the best price possible. With your approval, we will create a Music Contract for both of us to sign. A $100 deposit is then required. With this contract and deposit on file, you now have peace of mind that your important event date is secure. The final payment is not required until one week prior to the event


6.  How much do you Charge for Consulting Services?

NO COSTS -BECAUSE WE CONSIDER OUR CONSULTING MEETINGS SO IMPORTANT
We are happy to provide Consulting Services at No Cost.  We are happy meet with you in person to discuss your important Wedding, Party or Special Event plans. We know from experience in meeting many clients each week, that these meetings are so very important. Since every wedding, party and event is so different, we encourage our clients to meet.. Many times we schedule two meetings, one during the signing of the music contract and one just before the wedding to go over any last minute changes or details.


7.  Do you provide a Wedding Music Planner?

ABSOLUTELY!    THIS IS SO IMPORTANT
We furnish a Custom - Jazz Unlimited Band -  “Wedding Musical Planner”,  so you can record details and choose music for your entire event. This helps us to play all your special music and special dances.. We will play the music you like and want to hear. If you want to hear a CD recording by the original artist, we will play a CD of your favorite song. If your musical choice is not on our master song list, we will purchase the music, practice the music and perform the music at your special event.

9.  I am trying to decide between a DJ or Live Music? Help!
LIVE MUSIC SERVICES   -  HIGH ENERGY ENTERTAINMENT

We offer both DJ Services and Live Music Service and realize that DJ music has its place, and may be better than a lot of typical "Boring Wedding Bands".  However, the Jazz Unlimited Band is no boring wedding Band. We are a unique - lively - fun loving - high-energy Wedding and Party Dance Band who Entertains.  We feature some of the best entertainers and musicians in the Pacific Northwest.  When making a choice between Live Music and DJ Music, remember that recorded music cannot compare to the Presence of Live Music.  The investment in Live Music for your wedding Day will last a Lifetime.    

EXCITING PROFESSIONAL  DJ
If you prefer to have DJ Services, the Jazz Unlimited Band is happy to provide a professional DJ.  We also offer both worlds of music, Live Music and DJ Music combined. For Example,  Live Music for your wedding Ceremony and Cocktail Hour and our DJ services  for your wedding reception. 
 

10.  How do you SELECT THE MUSIC for our Wedding ?

Three very important choices that will make a huge difference.

For one of the most important days of your life - your Wedding Day, we want to play the music you like and want to hear.  

1)  We use your song lists from your Jazz Unlimited Band “Wedding Music Planner”.

2)  Your choices of Music from our popular Jazz Unlimited Band internet song lists.

3)  Special music requests during the event.  We are professional entertainers who constantly read our audiences and play the music that they want to hear, music that will MOTIVATE AND EXCITE our audience. Our versatile musicians play Music that creates "Magic Moments" that thrill and excite our audiences of all ages.

 

11.  How can you us help to organize our Wedding or Special Event?

CHECKLIST
The Jazz Unlimited Band will work with you, and/or your wedding and event planner to organize and structure your event in detail. We always furnish a "Wedding Music Planner", detailing the entire event, including important Master of Ceremony requirements to be performed by the Jazz Unlimited Band.

THE JAZZ UNLIMITED BAND WILL TAKE THE TIME, TO VISITS AND INSPECT EVERY VENUE PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT.
The selected Venues and their locations are stated on the our Music Wedding Planner. The Jazz Unlimited Band will personally visit the venues and ceremony locations prior to the wedding.  We will meet with venue management to inspect the venues, review management requirements and review all details of the wedding day with the wedding coordinator.  Also  determine all sound equipment requirements, electrical, parking and loading dock requirements.  We want no surprises on your wedding day.  On the day of your wedding,, the band will arrive two (2) hours early   (way before the first guest arrives)   to set up and test all equipment.

COMMUNICATION AND FLEXIBILITY DURING YOUR WEDDING OR SPECIAL EVENT
Before the activities begin and once the event has started, the band will keep in constant contact with you or your designee, to coordinate all activities throughout the entire wedding or special event. We offer complete flexibility, and if changes are required, we are there for you to do everything that will make your Wedding or Special Event a huge success


12.  Do you perform for Wedding Ceremonies?
 "YES"  WE SPECIALIZE IN CEREMONIES AND LOVE IT!
We perform for wedding ceremonies at 95% of all our weddings. Please visit our Menu item, Weddings,  "Wedding of a Lifetime".  We perform Prelude, Processional, Ceremony and Recessional Music. We offer and can feature many different instruments, including  STRINGS, KEYBOARDS, REEDS, plus Male and Female  Vocalist.  We perform classical music as well as contemporary and popular music. We also INCLUDE a separate PA system with cordless microphones for your wedding ceremony. This is very important for both indoor and outdoor weddings, and our PA System  is very much appreciated by your loved ones and special guests.

 
13. Could you give an example of maximum effort performing Live Music?

A RECENT WEDDING WAS 100 MILES AWAY. The band arrived three (3) hours early to set up equipment - in three different locations which required three (3) different PA Systems. The first PA system was for the Wedding Ceremony which was performed on a sunset beach. The second PA system was used for the Cocktail Hour held 200 yards away. The third PA system was used for the Formal Dinner and the Wedding Reception that was a 100 yards away. The three (3) PA Systems and accessories plus musical instruments was set up and tested before the first guest arrived.

COORDINATING OVERLAPPING PERFORMANCES
There were over 200 guests in attendance. When the guest left one area, they were greeted by musicians already performing in the next area. When they left the Wedding Ceremony, they were greeted in the Cocktail Area by musicians performing on Guitar, Mandolin, Clarinet and vocalist.
After the Cocktail Hour, the guest walked 100 yards to the Dinner Hour and Reception. They were greeted by the Jazz Unlimited Band Quintet, a FIVE (5) PIECE BAND, already playing music, featuring Keyboards, Guitar, Clarinet & Saxophone. Drums, plus Male & female Vocalist. The LIVE MUSIC flowed seamlessly from one location to the other enhancing the total experience. The coordination of music for the Wedding was amazing and could only be performed by our family of trained musicians that have years of experience working together as a team.
 

 

14.    Do you perform - Ethnic Music - Continental Music
You may feel that it is important to hear music from your families Ethnic Origin. The Jazz Unlimited Bands repertoire includes songs sung in Italian, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese. We will perform the wonderful classics of each nationality. (Please see Menu Item - Continental Music)

Music is truly an international language. The Jazz Unlimited Band proud to offer people of many different nationalities to hear and enjoy their favorite Ethnic Music, performed live and sung in their native language. You will Love our music.

We feature our fantastic accordionist Bonnie Birch who has performed in Carnegie Hall in New York,
The Jazz Unlimited Band will also perform  music in Italian, German, French, Scandinavian and Slovenian. Featuring Accordion, Guitar, Clarinet - Saxophone, Bass, Drums, and Tuba, and play Polkas, Schottisches, Swedish, Spanish and German Waltzes, Varsouvienne, Hambo, Circle Scottish, California Scottish and the Boston two step, plus other specialty dances upon request.

 

15.  What do we provide for the band in terms of Food and Beverage?
Food and beverage is appreciated. We often work long hours traveling to and from your event, setting up all our equipment, performing for hours and then breaking down all our equipment. For this reason,
our clients most often include us in their meal count, and it is very much appreciated by the band.
 


16.  Attire, what do you wear?
The band dresses in formal attire,  Black & White to most events.  For casual events, we wear classic shirts and coats to fit the event.  For our Hawaiian Luau performances, we wear Hawaiian Sport Shirts and black slacks.
 

17.  Does the band take breaks?
Our band members would rather be performing than take breaks. Breaks are held to a minimum.
IN SOME CASES THE LIVE MUSIC WILL NOT STOP EXCEPT FOR TOASTS AND SPEECHES, THE MUSICIANS CAN ALTERNATE ON KEYBOARDS, PERCUSSION AND WOODWINDS, GIVING EACH OTHER A BREAK.

We take 10 minute breaks approximately every two hours and we play CD;s during our breaks. While taking our breaks, the band members GREET the audience in a friendly and respectful way. WE ENJOY MEETING THE audience and RECEIVING requests for music.

18. Tipping
Gratuities are always appreciated, it is a wonderful way of saying thank you to the band.
A tip tells us also, that you appreciated OUR service leading up to your event as well as our MUSICAL ARTISTRY. We receive tips at approximately 90% of all our performances, and we appreciate your thoughtfulness very much.
